In the 6 vs. 11 match up, the lanes parted for a Deonte Burton dunk and Solomon Young rises up for the alley-oop slam at Kansas State.

The No. 6 Seed – Burton Elevates For The NCAA Tournament Slam
Deonte Burton took off from outside the lane to slam one home as the Nevada players got out of the way in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. It was one of Burton’s 17 dunks last season.

The No. 11 Seed – Thomas Hits Young For The Alley-Oop
Solomon Young broke onto the scene in a big way against Kansas State, finishing with 18 points and 12 rebounds. The big game included a big dunk courtesy Matt Thomas. On the break, Thomas lobs up a pass and Young finishes the slam.

Our 4 vs. 13 match up includes another Burton dunk, this one sending us to overtime in Norman, and Donovan Jackson finding Young for a dunk against TCU.

The No. 3 Seed – Burton Slams Door On Sooner Upset
Burton again found the lane wide open as he drove to tie the game at 69-69 with 35 seconds left. The Cyclones would get a stop to force overtime and eventually win it 92-87 in double OT. Burton finished the game with a career-high 31 points.

The No. 14 Seed – Young and Jackson Beat The Zone For The Dunk
Iowa State avenged an early season loss to TCU and Young pulled a Jackson pass that hit the backboard in and slammed it home all in one motion. The win was part of a six-game win streak in February.
